No problem, my team and I will guide you through every step of the process. We realize that while we have done thousands of mortgages....you have not, so there are a couple of key things we do to help.

  • Questions, Questions, Questions - Call us, we pick up the phone or will return your call promptly and answer your questions. Whatever you do don't just sit around stressing about something or wondering, pick up the phone and call. I make myself available for phone calls usually 7 days a week and from about 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. Try getting another lender to do that!
  • We Speak your Language - It's easy to forget that all the mortgage lingo isn't common knowledge. We try very hard to make sure we are speaking your language not ours. This is a process that is very foreign to most, so why would you know all the jargon that we use daily. Sometimes there isn't a choice in using the lingo, but we will explain it thoroughly and if for some reason you don't fully understand..refer to the first bullet point, Questions, Questions, Questions!
  • The Most Common Problem - Miscommunication is the number one reason people are unhappy with thier mortgage company or person during or after the process. Why you ask? It's because everything is so foreign to people, a lot of times after a few minutes into the conversation they start to hear wah, wah, wah, wah.....I have developed certain processes to avoid this. One is that I never assume that you followed me completely, so I'll ask you questions to make sure you really understood what we were going over. Second is that I repeat certain critical aspects and information regarding the process, many times before it's all said and done and it's time to close. The most important thing I do is....I do not use generalities or give estimations, I am very specific. I am asked all the time for an aproximation on this, that or the other thing, to which my response is that I don't do aproximations! I will go ahead and do the work and find out first and then give you the real deal. It's my opinion that you absolutely do not want to use anybody that guesses or fly's by the seat of thier pants (so to speak) when you are talking about something as big as financing the purchase of your home!!!
  • So you Can Make Informed Decisions -My staff and I educate you continually during the process. We won't make decisions for you, you're grown, you can make your own decisions...If you have the information to make an educated decision! So, we give you the info you need to make good informed decisions, because let's face it, it's not my mortgage and I don't have to live with it, you do. That's why I believe it's an important part of the process to have you make critical decisions, with me, mearly as your professional guide or coach, if you will.

Whatever you do, please don't assume that all mortgage lenders or mortgage brokers do these things, because they don't! These are aspects of how my team and I do business, because we really do care how your homebuying process goes...even if it does sound cliche.
